The creation of an idea, particularly an idea whose time has come, is a unique, human phenomenon. For the most part it is born from the experience of the individual working working or living in an environment that, to that individual, stimulates an inquiring mind. As Timmons points out, “a good idea is nothing more than a tool in the hands of an entrepreneur. Finding a good idea is the first step in the task of converting an entrepreneur’s creativity into an opportunity.”
