The profiles of PAHs have been used to determine the contribution of
different sources of concentrations in ambient air. Fig. 5 presents the
contribution of each PAH to the total (ΣPAH), for all the years of
study. As expected, there is a great contribution of Nap and species with 3 aromatic rings, especially Aci, Acp, Flu and Phe, for all the years.
However, it is also possible to observe an important contribution of Flt
and Pyr, which along with Phe can be indicative of the influence of incineration
sources
