Currently, much attention is focused on fuel cells as a clean
and efficient source of electrical power for both mobile and stationary
applications [1,2]. Fuel cells generate electrical power by
electrochemical oxidation of hydrogen with atmospheric oxygen.
Hydrogen, which is a clean, storable and renewable fuel that does
not produce pollutants or greenhouse gases upon combustion, is
potentially a major fuel for internal combustion engines and fuel
cells in the future.
