The aim of this study was to determine whether the TTM-based ESMI had positive effects on exercise behavior in sedentary CHD patients. The findings showed that the patients in the ESMI group demonstrated a significantly more positive changes in their exercise behavior in terms of a more positive shift of ESC, higher ESE, greater exercise benefits, fewer exercise barriers and longer moderate exercise duration (minutes/week) than those in the C and PE groups after completion of the eight-week intervention.
