Conclusion
The results presented here therefore indicated a relevant role
for this newformulation inwound healing, which lead to improvement
of therapeutic resources in the treatment of surgicalwounds.
From a clinical standpoint, the significantly differences of the
inflammatory and repair stage of healing treated with this new
formulation in comparison with hyaluronic acid, indicated a positive
potential therapeutic effects on acceleration of surgicalwound
healing particularly improvement of periodontal treatment consequences
after surgery. In addition, it could play an important
role in the treatment of open wound, such as skin burns, where
faster wound healing would be beneficial for the patient. Moreover,
in diabetic patients who frequently present difficulties in
wound healing, it could be useful in stimulating higher connective
tissue fiber deposition and better repair. Also, due to its availability
and much lower cost, this new formula could be a proper
substitute for hyaluronic acid in improvement of surgical wound
healing.
