It is possible to note that additions of 8 wt.% (M4 and M5) are
not suitable for this application, in fact the mechanical strength
data are lower than the industrial limit (Fig. 8). Based on data
reported, 5 wt.% is identified as the maximum amount allowed to
add grape and cherries seeds to traditional brick body. Although
this percentage causes only a slight weight decrease of the finished
product, this percentage became the most appropriate to the realization
of quality bricks.
