UNIQUE Aussie artist Seann Miley Moore is being heralded as the next big talent after leaving judges in tears on the set of the UK X Factor.
The 24-year-old Australian’s rendition of Freddie Mercury’s The Show Must Go On caused judge Rita Ora to weep and wowed the studio audience.
Raised in Indonesia and Thailand, Moore came to Australia in 2003.
He realised his calling after singing Eric Clapton’s Tears in Heaven at a school concert.
He attended Barker College on Sydney’s north shore before studying at the renowned performance school WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts).
Wearing a sheer, black top with a leather skirt and matching leather boots, Moore stormed the stage with what Ora said was “a meaning and a message about being a misfit and being comfortable”.
“I was so relieved that someone had come on the show and showed that kind of individuality,” she told British media.
“It wasn’t the fact that he did an amazing performance, it was more of being thankful for individuality and for people being comfortable in their own skin and with who they are. That’s why I cried.”

It was revealed that Moore travelled to the UK on a one-way ticket just two weeks before auditioning to try out for the show.
It is not the first time Moore has been recognised as a talent with his role in the nationally touring cabaret show Spiegelicious heralded as a breakout performance.
The show saw Moore hone his skills as a cross-dressing artist and provided him the opportunity to travel the country after being discovered by the show’s creator Jason Cole on YouTube.
Moore’s style has been described as a mash-up of old school musical tradition and contemporary music.
Earlier this year, Moore said he enjoyed finding new ways to interpret old musical theatre favourites.
“I love that clash between two worlds and my own compositions are really important to me,” he said.
“As much as I love the traditional musicals, I love seeing their new possibilities as well.”
With his appearance on X Factor, Moore’s style has been a hit with the UK public and the judges placing him as an early favourite in the competition.
