Perceptions of service providers and healthcare settingsWhen asked about what kinds of support would be helpful for them, three Canadians of Korean descent had positive perceptions of service providers and healthcare settings. They said that when their family members have dementia, they would ask for help from service providers because they have more resources and skills regarding dementia care than family caregivers. Conversely, five immigrant participants emphasised that they had negative perceptions of service providers and healthcare settings.
