Due to the rapidly changing economy, innovation is becoming more and more critical for the
success and survival of many organizations. Although several factors shaping innovation (e.g.,
strategy, climate, etc.) have been examined in the literature, the leadership of innovation has

innovation planning. The implications of these models for the leadership of innovation are
discussed.
