Determinate the creepage distance as followed, if
electrolyte spill:
a) Creepage distance between the two connections of
battery d::::0.25U+5, U is nominal voltage between the two
connections of battery
b) Creepage distance between live parts and electric
chassis: d::::0.125U+5
B. Insulation resistance nominal voltage rate
In the all life period of power battery, insulation
resistance according to standard calculation method
divided by nominal voltage of power battery should be
more than 100 illV.
C. Ventilation
In order to avoiding the harm from explosion, fire or
toxic substances when power battery produced gas, we
should consider followings:
a) There is no potentially hazardous gases get together
in any part of automotive body;
b) The concentration of hazardous gases should be
lower than a certain one.
Therefore, we should set ventilation device and the
unsafe factors of power battery should meet the following
requirements
