Does your Dr know about ehlers danlos? You could have dislocated your hip. Or it could be a severe strain and you need to take it slow. In my first clinical rotation I met a young woman with ehlers danlos and she dislocated her hip several times. She had great relief from exercising in deep water so her body weight was supported by the floating water. I'm not sure if that's an option where you live, but I suggest you ask your Dr about that and see if its an option for you.
