Nice to chat a little on Line today but hard to say much :)
Thanks for taking the time to write in English. Your English is good! I feel embarrassed that I speak so little Thai language.
I try but my memory is getting worse and Thai people are always so kind to make allowance when we don’t speak Thai it makes me lazy..
I hope yo had good day at school. What grade or subject do you teach?
I like my life here but miss working at school. i am still in touch with many of the students from my last job in a school in China
About me..hmm, here goes:
I come from Australia but I have worked and lived outside of Australia for a long time. I am settled in Thailand now and don’t think I will live in Australia again but of course I will visit to see my family. I love Australia but I like living outside of it. A bit strange perhaps?
I am single – never married and no children. I have had long relationships but none in Thailand.
I come from a big family – 5 sisters and 2 brothers. I have many, many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces, great, great nephews and nieces etc..
Both my Mum & Dad have passed away a long time ago.
Here in Chiang Mai I do some work online (administration, editing, marketing) and am involved with some groups that help old foreigners who have health or other problems and also volunteer in a little project near Mae Sariang helping improve the libraries (I was librarian for a long time) in some poor government schools.
I hope that is enough about me for a start Mana. Plenty of time to get to know each other.
OK, some more work to do before some dinner. A busy time in my work but that’s fine – better than being bored!
Nice to chat on Line but if you prefer to use my email address njkilah@hotmail.com that is fine also.
I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you better.
Keep well, sweet dreams.
Neil
