THE lead singer of the Irish rock band The Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan, has pleaded guilty to assaulting three policemen and a flight attendant during an alleged psychotic episode last year.
O’Riordan didn’t speak during Wednesday’s court hearing in western Ireland.
Her lawyer said she accepted evidence of the assault and obstruction charges facing her.

Durcan said he would sentence her early next year. She faces possible penalties ranging from a cash fine to six months’ imprisonment.
A cabin attendant testified that O’Riordan stomped on her ankle as the Aer Lingus flight from New York landed in Shannon, Ireland, in November 2014.

Alcohol was not a factor, the court was told.
The 44-year-old mum-of-three is now based in New York.
