Languedoc - The Languedoc Regional Committee ran a campaign to draw people's attention to the Languedoc's sunny, wide-open spaces. An American company, Prolitec, Suggested giving the message more impact by using outdoor smells. Prolitec created a fragrance that would remind people of the typical regional scent of brush land. The scent was then used in a seven-day advertising campaign run in winter in major train stations in Paris and the south of France.
