Dear Sir,
Further to the trailing emails, please note we have investigated this issue and our processing center has reverted with the reason for the 6% commission not calculated in refund.
As per our processing system the airlines default commission is set as 3%.
The said tickets refund commission rate 6% was overwritten by the default commission set on the system i:e 3%.
While we understand that there is a supplementary commission of additional 3% for this transaction the system is unable to validate this during the processing of the refund transaction.
Having said the above, to overcome this issue we can suggest you to update the commission rate for refund transactions as '' NIL ''. In this way the airline will be able to recall the exact commission agent inputs while issuing a refund.
At the same time the commission rates for other transactions i:e Ticket, EMDA & EMDS can be retained to 3% as a default commission.
The above said is at the airlines discretion solely and can be updated on request from the airline on their letterhead signed by the authorised signatory.
Also please mention the effective date if agreeable.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.
Thanks & Regards,
Hussein BHOPALWALA

In view that this problem will not have a permanent solution and the suggested remedy by BSP is not fool proof method where the agent can manually set any percentage(%) and still fool the process,
we suggest that Till a final solution is reached, our accounts team will continue to raise ADM to reclaim the refund commission not given by the agent.
Further, we wish to mention here that TG India will move from the front-end incentive structure to back-end incentive structure effective 01OCT15 which will totally eliminate the refund commission error as all tickets will attract only IATA commission and no supplementary commission will be given.
We have also contacted CRS Amadeus, Galileo and Abacus to understand their system and how the problem can be resolved. We have identified that most of such cases are on Galileo. Meeting with 1G has already done and they have to revert back to us after checking with their IT team.
Hence, please bear with us till 01Oct’15 for a permanent solution.
We Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Best Regards
