HTC continued to co-brand with network operators. In 2010, over 90 percent of HTC smartphones were sold via
operators’ stores, such as Verizon and AT&T stores in the United States. In Europe, more than half of its products
were distributed through stores owned by network operators, including Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange. In addition, HTC began to distribute its branded products through retail chains, such as Best Buy and Radio Shack in the United States and Carphone Warehouse in Europe. In Asia, most HTC smartphones were distributed through retail stores with the HTC logo on the products Since 2007, HTC has released over 100 smartphone models under the HTC logo.The market response has been very positive. HTC also launched co-branded products with its network operator customers. In 2010, for example,
it had designed the Nexus One for Google and co-branded this new line. It also sold a few models under private brands owned by network operators.
