Introduction
My aim would like to learn a new challenging activity and improve reservation skills, also fare and ticketing skills for my career in the future plan on the surrounding within GDS circles. I focused on the Galileo GDS system was my dream company that I wanted to join with their team. I have been known a process of basic reservation and basic fare the classroom; also it will be apply for working at Galileo Thailnad. It could be very challenging, motivation, and stabilizing.
On my first day I was so excited and ready to getting the new experiences in Galileo Thailand when I was brought to the Galieo Thailand office. It was a warm family and everyone was kind.In first month, I work in sales department for 1 month. My supervisor assigned me to checked the daily report from SAR report every Monday and Friday and written them into the paper report and placed into the Excal Files. SAR report is the volume of segment that agent made the booking in Galileo GDS. In the first past of the month, I have to made about the MIDT and written into the report paper and placed all of them into the Excal files. MIDT is volume of segment the agent made booking with other GSD for example, Amadeus GDS. They were a lot of document about the MIDT because the documents are devide into several part of Thailand, including the southern, the northen, the north eastern and the central. So, It was a lot of agent. During the internship, I got a good opportunity to be an assistant in 30th Anniversary Thai Travel Agents Association event. In the event, I met with many booth of GDS system and airline.
Next month, I moved to traning department and worked here for 2 months. In traning department, I got a good oppotunuty to be an teacher assistant at Chandra Kasem Rajabhat University with my supervisor and my friend for 3 weeks. It was a good experience for me. All of students are majoring tourism industries. At the office, I helped my supervisor to made certificate both agent and university. Also checked the examination then place them into the excel file. In Semtember, I went to Rangsit University with my supervisor and I was an teacher assistant. My duty was helped student when them face with problem than I gave them a suggestion.
