The world has about 33.2 millions of people living with HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS is among the leading cases of morbidity and mortality in the world. The disease not only affects the physical and physiological parameters of the patients, but also has great impact on psychosocial aspects. The first HIV positive case was detected in 1993 in Bhutan, and since then new HIV positive cases were recorded every year and reached 144 as reported on 6 March 2008.
