I have tried baking magnets into my clay with a little layer of clay over them, rendering them invisible. Those turned out very weak and were useless as magnets. Baked at 275
I tried baking them into my clay with the magnet exposed. Many of those, the magnet popped out of and needed glueing. Some stuck very well and others seemed weak(now I know why, thanks Diane). They were baked at 275.
I have found that the best way, for me, is to press the magnet into it, remove, bake, and glue. All attempts were with circular craft magnets using Sculpey III, baked at 275.
