Good Morning ...
Christmas Eve and the birth of the Prophet Muhammad coincide this year on the same night! If this isn't a sign for Muslims and Christians to give each other a little love this year, then I don't know what is! I will be adding daily to this post some of the teachings of the two most influential men in all of human history until the New Year--may God bless and sanctify them in this life and in the Afterlife--so make sure to check in and comment on your favorite teaching and why. And part of showing some love entails "sharing" some love, so click below. Merry Christmas and a Blessed Mawlid!
1. The Prophet Muhammad (may God bless and sanctify him and his family) said: "Dearest to me, in friendship and in love, in this world and the next, is Jesus, the Son of Mary. No Prophet ever came between us. The Prophets are all brothers from one father (Abraham) and two mothers (Sarah and Hagar).
2. The Messiah (may God bless and sanctify him and Mary) said, "Think not that I have come to destroy the law, or the Prophets; I have not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
