Pha chao ton luang: This was the largest Chiang Saen-style Buddha image built during the Lanna kingdom era(1494-1524); is is 14 meters wide and 16 meters high. This statue is situated at Wat Si Khom Kham temple, a third class Buddhist royal temple, and the Department of Religious Affairs praises it as the
best example of development temple. Locals call this temple " wat phra Chao Ton Lung" The temple is open daily from 07.30 to 18.30 (and open at 06.30 on Buddhist Holy Days)
pho Khun Ngam Muang Memorial : King Ngam Muang was the ninth king to govern Phu Kam Yaw from 1280 to 1289. During his reign, the state prospered and expanded its territory. the memorial,built to commemorate the former king, is situated in the pulic park of Phayao City near the lake. on the 5 march every year there is a procession of people bringing worship offerings to the monument as well.
