A physical quantity is a quantity that can be measured. Length is an example of a physical quantity. It can be measured with an instrument such as a metre rule. Other examples of physical quantities are time, mass, temperature and electric current.
Physical quantity are not only important in scientific investigation but also in our daily life, especially in buying and selling.
Physical quantity are measured in SI unit. SI unit is the abbreviation of the French term ‘Le systeme international d’Unites ’ which means International System of Unit. They are used as standard unit all over the world.
