Today, PPI Produces up to 300,000 metric tons of kraft paper per year at a factory located on a site of approximately 800 rai (320 acres) in Homok, Bangsai, Ayutthaya Province under promotional privileges granted by the Thai Board of Investment (BOI). To make us more competitive, we established Panjapol Pulp Industry (Public) Co., Ltd. Which holds 100 percent of shares in Panjapol Paper Industry Co., Ltd. The company commenced operations on September 26, 1989 and produces virgin pulp (unbleached pulp) using Eucalyptus wood as raw material. Today, it has a production capacity of 90,000 metric tons per year, also under BOI promotional support like its predecessor, In addition, Panjapol Pulp produces up to 220,000 metric tons of pulp annually from waste paper, using both domestic and imported old corrugated containers as raw material. Most of the unbleached pulp is used in PPI manufacturing, while any remainder is sold and exported.
