The International Violinmakers School of Cremona The Institute was founded in 1938 and is attended nowadays by about 100 violin-making students coming from all parts of the world. It has workshops and equipment for the analysis of sound, endoscopic surveying, by X-ray and photogrammetrically.
The expert violin-makers teaching in the school are: Claudio Amighetti, Giorgio Cè, Massimo Negroni, Ezio Scarpini, Giorgio Scolari, Ernesto Vaia and Vanna Zambelli
