Aiming at increasing theefficiency and reducing the cost of
enzymatic hydrolysis process,the research included not only the
substrate pretreatment [18,67], but also th eon-site and economic
cellulase productions [68]. The synergistic enzymatic hydrolysis
system of cellulase enzyme supplemented with other enzymes
and accelerant was also investigated.
The synergism between corn cell wall proteins(CWP)and
Trichoderma viride cellulase was discovered in cellulose hydrolysis,
and the synergetic effect of fresh corn stover CWP was more
notable [69]. The results of synergism mechanism analysis showed
that, besides glycosidase,many cellulase synergetic factors with
non-cellulose hydrolytic activity exited in the CWP.Study on fungi
and bacteria of fresh corn stover indicated that the synergetic
activity of CWP came from plant itself [69].
Autolysis in vitro of fresh corn stover was discovered,and the
main product was glucose.The autolytic corn stover was 2.56% by
dry weight. It was discovered that the autolytic substrate was
mainly β-(1-3, 1-4)-glucan and partial cellulose.To use the plenty
fresh corn stover CWP,a novel enzymatic and fermentative tech-
nique for mixtures of fresh and steam exploded corn stover was
developed [70]. Compared to the control,the yields of glucose and
ethanol were increased by 61.2% and 112.7%, respectively. In the

substrate and its CWP,but also as the additive for T.viride cellulase
