A novel and sensitive flow-CL method based on the enhancing
effect of cloxacillin sodium on the luminol–H2O2–CuO nanosheets
CL reaction in alkaline solution was developed for the determination
of cloxacillin sodium. The proposed method is rapid, simple
and sensitive with a wide working range of 0.05–30.00 mg L1.
Simple and green ultrasonic assisted precipitation method was
used for synthesis of CuO nanosheets. The applicability of the
flow-CL method was successfully demonstrated for the determination
of cloxacillin sodium in spiked water samples and pharmaceutical
preparation. The reaction mechanism of luminol–H2O2–CuO
nanosheets was also discussed in the presence of cloxacillin
sodium using UV–Vis absorption and CL spectra
