In two patients with leukemic reticuloendotheliosis, two cell populations
(lymphocytes and histiocyte-like cells) were seen by phase contrast microscopy.
The histiocytes were stained by each of the five antisera to Ig chains
and by rhodamine labeled polymeric human IgG. This finding was not further
explored. No monoclonal lymphocytic population was found since the percentages
of lymphocytes positive with each antiserum were at the lower limit
of the normal ranges.
