How did your impressions change after watching the movie?
My impressions didn’t change because this film (including Iron Man 1 and Iron Man 2) is Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi movie. I knew the type of film so I knew what was going to happen. There are some unexpected scenes in this movie such as Mandarin, he was just an actor not a terrorist, Stark exploded all of his stuffs, and at the end he decided to get rid of shrapnel in his chest. And some action of Stark make me impressed such as taking care of Happy after Happy was injured by explosion, Helping Potts when his house was attacked, and explosion all of his stuff for Potts. In this movie also have new innovation that Stark invented for example Iron Man suit that can fly to any one you want to wear, and Controlling Iron Man that no need human inside.
Do you feel any differently after finishing it?
From the movie there are some scenes that Stark tried to help Potts. It’s show me about love and earnestness. That make me impressed and role to do. That make me to do good things for the person I love before it's too late. And there are some scenes that I saw bad behavior from Stark so that had an impact on other people, that teach me to think carefully before doing anything.
Would you watch the movie again?
Of cause, I will watch this movie again. Because this movie in very exciting. There is 2 episodes before this episode and there will be the next episode next year. This movie is related with Avengers and in 10 April 2015 will be next episode
“Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
What emotions did the movie invoke?
This movie have a lot of emotions for instant laughter; when Stark failed such as after help people he was crashed by truck, and when Stark meet Mandarin and he seem to be crazy, excited; when Stark helped 13 crews who fell from the plane, impressed; when Stark tried to help Potts in every scene.
Was the movie predictable? Why or why not?
The story is kind of easy to guess of how it goes but it's also hard to see how each character plays the roles or how he/she reacts with situations. Some parts were unexpected to happen such as Mandarin, he was just an actor not a terrorist, and at the end when Stark exploded all of his stuffs.
Are there any scenes that speak to any of your own life experiences?
Yes, there is a scene that speak to my life experience. It’s at the start of the movie, Stark left Killian on the roof but I think he didn’t want to do that may be he just forgot. This scene maybe happen in my life, sometimes I accepted to go with someone but I forgot. It’s bad behavior and I'll try not to let it happen again.
Would you like to be one of the characters (acquire a personality trait)? Which of the characters would you become, if you could? Why? If there’s something about the character that you’d want to change, what is it?
If I can, I want to be Tony Stark because he is very cool, he has awesome stuff that can help him to do everything he want to do and help him to help people. But I want to change something about Tony Stark. That is his behavior. I want him to be more polite. I think that will make him better than the present, people will like him (more than the present).
If you were the scriptwriter, would you have changed the name of a character, or altered the location of a scene? How and why?
I would like to change the name of security named Happy, it’s not cool and too cute. I think the location in this film is suitable but if I am a scriptwriter I will add Stark Tower in this movie and made it was attacked by Killian like his Malibu mansion to add more excitement.
Would you like to direct your questions at a particular character?
I would like to ask Stark about the end of this movie when Stark thrown his arc reactor into the sea. “Why you throw your arc reactor into the sea, don’t you afraid someone take it to build weapon?”
Are you confused about what happened (or didn’t happen) in the movie? What events or characters do you not understand?
I confused about some scenes, the first is what is in the bag that Sevin; Killian’s subordinate, give to the guy who wait for, the second is who is President Rodriguez and why he isn’t tell the president about Iron Patriot on the plane.
Are there themes or ideas in the movie that make you stop and think, or prompt questions?
There is an idea from the movie that prompted question to me. Why S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn’t at all involved in combating the villain’s super-powered campaign of terrorism against America? Why they wasn’t involved in suppression of Extremis?
What are your favorite lines/quotes? Explain why these quotes caught your attention.
“We create our own demons” Stark told like this 2 times in this movie the first is at the start and the second is at the end. It make me think about that again and this is true. Everybody create our own demons, we create them by ourselves. Therefore, they won’t occur if we don’t create it. We should think before speak or do something, because our speech or action can create demons and they will affect to us. Sometime demons is imagine. Thus we can control and fix it.
How have you changed after watching the movie? What did you learn that you never knew before?
I think the quotes from the movie make me stop and think, and I change my mind by the quotes that is about doing something that affect to us in the future from “We create our own demons” and another quote is “I’m Tony Stark. I build neat stuff, got a great girl, occasionally save the world. So why can’t I sleep?” everything we have don’t always make me happy.
