Digital technology is already employed by HNWIs across a wide array of their financial and
wealth management needs. Two-thirds (69%) use online and mobile banking and over 40%
use online means to review their portfolio or investment markets. Over a third are using online services for portfolio management. Demand for finance-related technology is surprisingly similar across younger and older HNWIs – one exception being portfolio management where under-45s are markedly more interested in managing investments online
