I already talked to Korean government in order to be exempted from the additional organic certificate in Korea. But they said we should have Korean own organic certificate to use the word “organic”. There is no other purpose at all, but we just want to use the word “organic” for the truly organic coffee.
Yes, USDA and Korea signed mutual agreement but there is a condition which is quite stupid.
The corps should be harvested in the US or finally treated/processed in the US. Since Doi Chaang coffee beans are harvested in Thailand and finally treated/processed in Korea, Doi Chaang coffee beans are not applicable to the agreement.
I appreciated your help again and I am looking forward to seeing you in Thailand soon.
