Imax served as the response value and the standard concen- trations served as the dependent value. The R value was the sole criterion to assess the calibration equation. In this study, no relationship between lmax and pesticide concen- trations could be found. However, the measurement data could be treated by using of the indexes y and y2. Two in- dexes had better precision than Imax. The inverse calibra tion equations established by regression analysis revealed the accuracy of the determination method was within 5 ppm with the y2 value used as the independent variables. This method provided a novel way to analyze cyclic vol tammograms and establish a calibration equation for determining of pesticides concentration.
