When operators, whether spraying or not, have to work inside the
spray booth, ventilation is unlikely to be sufficient to control
particulates and solvent vapour in all cases. In such
circumstances they should wear a compressed air-fed respirator
during the spraying process and until such time as the
particulates and solvent vapour concentration has fallen below the
exposure limits.
