This is a really good one for writing because it sort of stays in the background and isn't so distracting. It does have a great effect and I find myself getting the ideas I need for creative writing.

I understand that binaural beats are a result of two different frequencies, one in each ear, oscillating and giving a beat effect. I appreciate you listing all the frequencies used in this video, but I don't understand how they are all used. If you have one frequency in each ear, creating a binaural beat, isn't that only 3 frequencies?

+James Kirk The beat is a psychological effect from perceiving the difference between two separate tones in each ear. The difference in frequency between the two notes is the beat frequency. One tone is set at, let's say 320hz, and then the other tone at 327.5hz... thus giving a beat of 7.5HZ. So basically the third perceived frequency is an illusion. (only 2) The idea is to use external frequencies to influence internal brain frequencies. Our states of mind are largely determined by our brain wave frequency.
