4. Limitations of the study
We assumed that university students are like other young people
when they enter university, and that their university education
is the reason for the difference in their opinions and knowledge
when compared to non-university people. This might be true, but
it is also possible that a bias is introduced by focusing only on university
students. University students are likely to be both more
educated than other people, and they are also more likely to have
a personality open to discovery and learning. They are likely to be
from wealthier and more stable families, and there could be other
differences as well.
