Had Yao (Long Beach) is a beach in Kantang District. If you plan to visit Trang Railway Station, you should stop by Had Yao for a sunset view before you leave. You can also make reservations for your long stay since there are not a lot of resorts around. Had Yao is 47 kilometers away from Trang downtown. Its symbol is a mountain in the shape of a shark’s fin. The beach connects to Yong Ling Cape and is 5 kilometers long and very wide. Rows of sea pines grow along the beach. Its inlet is broad and serves as Trang’s most inviting beach for swimming and recreations. The beach is properly sloped, leaving ample areas for camping. A short further journey will lead to Had Yao Pier, a local pier for all-day local taxi boat services or charter local boats to Koh Libong. You can also move further to board on a boat at Had Chao Mai Pier, a newer and bigger cement pier.
