• High intensity after transfer Just after transfer, light intensity needs to be high. This encourages hens to discover their new environment (nipples, feeder and nest location). Light intensity stimulates feed consumption too. When feed consumption is sufficient, it can be reduced.
• Night flash (midnight feed) When local legislation allows it, a maximum of two
hours of light could be given to hens 3 hours after lights are turned off. During that time, feed distribution is provided. This technique is very useful, mainly during hot season, to encourage birds to consume feed.
