Background Information
Safety is one of the highest priorities we have at Ford Motor Company. As part of our continuing communications and awareness regarding safety, we are reiterating the Corporate Policy relative to Kitchen Appliances.
The Company has a long established policy related to the use of kitchen appliances at work. We recently experienced fires involving the use of kitchen appliances. These appliances were not approved or authorized. As a result of these fires, employees lost personal belongings, suffered inconveniences and were relocated until the site remediation was completed.
