Re : acid zinc " total " treatment
I am not sure we do it this way or others, anyway this is for your reference.
1. Adding H2O2 ( 30% ) 2~3ml/L ( diluted with water 1:3 ).
2. Raise pH to 6.2 ( diluted NaOH ).
3. Active Carbon 3~5g/L
4. Raise temp to 65C
5. Agitation for 2 hours ( Temp keeping 65C )
6. Setting for 24 hours ( naturally cool down )
7. Filtration
8. Use 80% additives make up then carefully adjust pH and additives to meet the best performance.

You can take an old solution, maybe this time you can use SANKO old solution to do this TOTAL treatment and compare with the " Forced conversion " to ITZ process.
