The activity towards capsaicins was mostly found in the salt-solubilised
extract (>95% of the total activity). A membrane-bound
acylase from A. utahensis NRRL 12052 (ECB deacylase) has been already
used for the hydrolysis of different antibiotics, such as echinocandin
B, A21978C and teicoplanin (Boeck et al., 1988;
Kreuzman et al., 2000).
