I have been reading some posts about parents being concerned about the other children in the family - the non CCHS kids. Allie was my youngest, I have 3 older kids. I have asked them all what is like to have a sibling who demanded so much of my time and attention, and it never really seemed to affect the way we all interacted and lived life. My oldest son did sit down and put some thoughts down - he is 28 and lives out in LA. My favorite part of the letter was this - "the odds have been against my family for the past 17 years but we beat them with optimism, love, understanding and consistency. We willingly sacrifice for each other because that is what you do for people in your family no matter what the cost." I think all of our kids - CCHS and non, are pretty amazing.
