Alice & Peter Tan Bursary
Mrs Alice Tan's six children are all NUS alumni and her substantial endowed gift is intended to enable students with financial needs to benefit from the myriad of educational opportunities at the University and to fund programmes that would further enhance the quality and impact of NUS' student learning experiences. The Alice & Peter Tan Bursary is open to all full-time NUS undergraduates residing at NUS University Town (UTown) with preference given to students staying in the College of Alice & Peter Tan.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
be full-time NUS undergraduates in the Academic Year 2014/2015
be residing at College of Alice & Peter Tan, Cinnamon College (USP) or Tembusu College with preference given to students residing at College of Alice & Peter Tan
fulfil NUS’ bursary requirements
Bursary value
The bursary is valued at $5,000 per academic year and is bond-free.
General terms and conditions
The bursary is tenable for one academic year (currently AY2014/2015). A fresh application is required each academic year.
The bursary will help defray some costs of staying at the residential college. Without prior approval from the Selection Committee/Office of the Provost, recipients may not concurrently hold any other bursary, scholarship or free aid for the same academic year. If you are offered a bursary/scholarship by both the Office of Financial Aid (OFA)/Faculty and UTown, you will be informed if you are allowed to hold both awards concurrently.
