Experimental Procedure
Conductivity measurements require the use instrument:
the Conductivity cell and the Conductivity meter bridge. the cell constant, K , is first determined by measuring the Conductivity, L ,of an accurately prepared 0.0200M KCI solution for which the value of specific Conductivity,K, is
know to be 0.002768 SCM Mol
K=k/L
the molar Conductivity of any compound is determined in following way
1. A 1x10^-3 M solution of compound of interest is prepared
2.the Conductivity is measured in the same cell for which the cell constant has been previously determined,as described previously
3. the cell should be rinsed before each measurement
