Several risk assessments on Campylobacter in broiler meat have
been performed within the last ten years. The risk assessments are
used for different purposes; i.e. to evaluate potential effects of control
measures in the broiler production chain and to assess the human risk
due to Campylobacter in broiler meat (Nauta et al., 2009). In Denmark,
risk assessment models are also used on a day to day basis in the
case-by-case control (see above) (Anonymous, 2009).
