The method of extracting the front view fingerprint from multiple view finger images captured by mobile camera has been proposed. The image with the maximum number of pixels is the best candidate for the front view fingerprint. When photographing the multiple fingerprint images, the image acquiring condition is relatively simple, camera is roughly paralell to the finger. As a result, reasonable quality fin- gerprints can be captured by users themselves using their own mobile device. The advantage of taking multiple fin- gerprints is the potential to prevent isolated fake fingerprint passes the authentication. This is due to the fact that the multiple views of fingerprint have correlation to each other, one individual fake fingerprint is impossible to provide the correlation information.
