For all different TiO2 particles, we investigated the type
and the stability of emulsions prepared at different ratios of
φwater ranging from 0.2 to 0.8. The solid content in the emulsions
is fixed at 5 wt.%, which is an overall concentration in
each emulsion. Variation of the water volume fraction allows
the formation of either o/w- or w/o- emulsions. Stabilization
of either water-in-oil- or oil-in-water-emulsions occurs
as a function of particle wettability.
