Hua Hin Railway Station is visited by many Thai and foreign tourists because of its architectural beauty. Not only is it considered as the town’s symbol, it is also considered as the most beautiful train station in Thailand! The station is well preserved which makes it a great location for taking photographs
Other reasons for the station’s popularity are the Royal Pavilions, and the iconic ‘Hua Hin’ sign. Though the pavilions are not in use anymore, they are a beautiful example of Thai architecture. You will find one pavilion opposite the railway station and another further down from the station.
Also opposite the station is the Railway Train Library. The library holds over two thousand books. Entry and membership are free of charge. Being a member allows you to borrow up to three books for a period of one week. To become a member, bring your ID card and a 1x1 inch photo of yourself.
If you’re waiting for the train to arrive to take photos with it, you can sit and relax at the recently opened Hua Hin Coffee Station. The seats here are comfortable, and the coffee is pretty good.
