EXPERIMENTAL
Preparation of stationary phases based on cobalt
chloride. Cobalt(II) chloride possesses crystal structure; therefore, to increase its specific surface, the salt
was applied onto a macroporous stationary phase for
gas chromatography, Porochrom-3 (from an aqueous
solution) and on an nonpolar polymeric adsorbent
Polisorb-1 (from an ethanolic solution) [11]. A mixed
phase of cobalt(II) chloride and Carbowax 20 M was
applied onto Porochrom-3 from a solution in acetone.
The volume of solution V (mL) and the concentration
of cobalt chloride c in it (mL/g) in the application
were calculated by the equation
V = αm/с, (1)
where α is the specified mass concentration of the salt
in the adsorbent and m is adsorbent mass (g)
