Innovation has different definitions according to the various theories. Drucker (1985) defined innovation in the entrepreneur’s point of view as an instrument for seeking interest and opportunity from various changes to create different business and services from competitors. According to Rogers (1995) innovation is meant ideas, practices or new things. Herkema (2003: 340) defines innovation as “a knowledge process aimed at creating new knowledge geared towards the development of commercial and viable solutions”. National Innovation Agency of Thailand (NIA) narrowed down the definition of innovation as new things created from integrating knowledge and creative ideas for the purpose of economic and social benefits (Limapornwanich et al., 2012).
