1.5 EXERCISE 5 – DESCRIPTION OF EXERCISE
A double-acting cylinder of a travel shunt is triggered a 5/2-way solenoid valve.
Workpieces should be moved from track 1 to track 2 by a shunt. After a short actuation of the Start-button, the belt is moving backward (towards shunt). As additional starting condition, the piston rod of the shunt cylinder should be in normal position and a workpiece should be on track 1 (at capcitive sensor S0.7). The belt is first being reversed, if the workpiece has been safety arrived at position “shunt”. Because here no sensor is provided , this has to be realized by a time. Please time, how long the maximum period will last for a workpiece, then adjust the time respectivelt.
After the adjusted time, the belt is being stopped and the shunt is moved to working position (at S0.6). When the piston rod is reaching that position (at 0.6), the belt is switched on forward and is staying switched, as long as the capacitive sensor of track 2(S0.8) is actuating-end of cycle.
The return of the piston rod (to S0.5) has to done by hand operation.
If,when starting the sequence, the piston rod is not at S0.5, please move the cylinder by hand lever operation to that position.
Please adjust one-way flow control valves, so that forward-as well as backward movements are not abruptly.
