I am not one to rant, but really???
Do you know if your airline seat is clean? On Thursday evening, 11/13/2014 I boarded AA #276 from Atlanta to DFW. As I approached my seat, row 26F, a few of us noticed that the previous passenger had vomited across two seats. The flight attendants notified the cleanup crew who then replaced the bottom seat cushions. Then, another team came in and cleaned the floor. I leaned over while they were cleaning and asked if they could also clean the armrests and surrounding areas such as the tray tables. But, to my surprise they would not clean it because it “looked” clean to them. Really? The passenger sitting next to me and I told the flight attendants that the area still needed to be cleaned and sanitized. Instead of bringing the cleaning crew back in, they gave us another seat to sit in and the flight took off. The flight attendants were more interested in getting back to Dallas rather than sanitize that area of the plane. I hope they did the right thing and sanitized the area when we landed and before the next flight took off.
I would think that this very well could fall under a health code violation. Really makes me wonder what else the airline is not cleaning up.
I emailed a complaint with American Airlines on Friday and have not received a response.
